Box Eight boxeight.com
$$$ $4,5000 for Saturday night; up to 150 guests...extra add ons as well. (security, parking $10 per car)
In regards to the rental fee, I have attached our event rental document for you to view. Our maximum capacity at current is 150, but it will be more by the fall.
Do you provide any seating/tables?
We do have a few couches and tables. While they are available for use, we also have excellent "Preferred Vendors" that can also provide great seating and tables for the special day.
Is it possible to bring in our own Alcohol, and caterer? Are there kitchen facilities?
Alcohol and Catering are welcomed with open arms as long as there is a permit for the alcohol (which a caterer should have) and the caterer has insurance.
Is there a discount for booking an off-season date or on Sunday through Friday?
Available to view in the attached document.
Is there ample parking, and are there restrooms to accommodate all guests.
Parking is available for a fee included in the attached document as well. This includes valet services, which is highly recommended as they are more than familiar with our parking lot and have worked 300 cars in our space.
There are two, unisex restrooms available for guests. I hope this has answered many of your questions. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience in order to schedule a good time to come check out our space. Thursday or Friday would work best for BOXeight as all areas of the space will be rented out on Wednesday.

SmogShoppe through the end of 2010, so rates may be subject to change in 2011.
Here are SmogShoppe’s rates and policies for April – December 2009/10. (The rates for January – March are about 10% less.)
The standard rate for a 12-hour location rental for up to 150 guests on a Saturday is $6500. For up to 200 guests it is $7500.
The rate for Fridays and Sundays for 150 guests is $5500 and up to 200 guests is $6500.
We offer a discounted rate of $4250 for weddings/receptions with 75 guests or less on Fridays and Sundays only.
There are some additional fees for cleaning, trash hauling ($300), site management and a doorman ($35/hr each). We also require clients to contract with a valet service which runs about $10-$15 per vehicle, plus $5 per reserved parking space. There is an optional kitchen equipment use and set up fee of $200.
The site fee includes use of our hd cinema, dj ready sound-system, casual furniture and wooden tables, and vintage bentwood chairs that seat 50 guests. Additional tables and chairs for 50 more guests can be rented from us for $200.
